Season 2 Episode 9: Katerina  Content Warning: Language, Innuendo, Violence (you see a girl hanging herself briefly), Sexual Content  Plot Points: Katherine's backstory: She had a kid before she was turned but that child was taken away from her Rose tells more about Klaus, who is an original A mysterious guy named Luka shows up Bonnie friendzones Jeremy  Elena talks to Katherine: Klaus was going to use Katherine as a sacrifice but she was saved by Trevor and Rose Caroline tells Stefan about telling Tyler Rose and Damon go visit a guy named Slater who is a vampire that is an expert on a lot of different things and has a connection to Elijah Katherine hung herself and that's how she became a vampire Stefan figures out Elena is talking to Katherine Katherine tells Elena more about breaking the curse Luka is making a move on Bonnie. Also him and his dad are warlocks Klaus killed Katherine's family as punishment Elena blames herself for everything Rose ...

Season 2 Episode 8: Rose Content Warning: Violence (Some guy is stabbed, another guy is beheaded), Innuendo, Language I. Am. Dying. Season 2 Episode 7: Masquerade Content Warning: Violence, Language, Innuendo Plot Points: Katherine tells Caroline to tell Damon and Stefan to bring the moonstone to the masquerade ball or she'll kill people The "group" plans to kill Katherine Katherine has a witch on her side Bonnie and Jeremy have some bonding moments They try to kill Katherine but find out she is linked to Elena so that's a problem Tyler kills someone (not Matt) and Caroline hints that she knows what is going to happen to Tyler (Directly to Tyler) Damon traps Katherine in the tomb and hints that Elena is in danger but Damon ignores it  Stefan and Elena are still continuing to be broken up Elena gets kidnapped at the end Well. Season 2 Episode 6: Plan B Content Warning: Violence (Torture and Murder), Innuendo, Language, Heavy Make Out Scenes (Implied Sex),  And here are out plot points....yikes there was A LOT we learn. Katherine and Mason are a thing: Like they are full on kissing and having sex Jeremy tells Damon about Tyler because he wants to be more "involved" or whatever Damon and Stefan get Bonnie to help them kidnap Mason and find out where the moonstone is Caroline tells her mom everything and then compels her memories away Damon tortures and kills Mason Stefan, Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline get the moonstone from where Mason hid it Katherine compelled Jenna to be her spy and gets her to stab herself as punishment for what they did to Mason Jenna is going to be okay and she doesn't remember stabbing herself Stefan and Elena really break up Katherine compels Matt to go after Tyler to make him become a werewolf Let me start off with saying....Katherine and Mason? Season 2 Episode 5: Kill or Be Killed Content Warning: Language, Innuendo, Violence We see Mason's backstory--he killed his friend accidentally and that caused him to have the curse fall on him Stefan and Elena are pretending that they are having problems Stefan talks to Mason to try to smooth things over but when Mason is uncooperative so Stefan lowkey threatens him Mason tells the Sheriff Stefan and Damon are vampires Jeremy tells Tyler he knows about Tyler's....curse? Heritage? Whatever you want to call it Damon and Stefan are subdued by the sheriff and about to be killed but Caroline saves them They are waiting for the vervain to be out of the sheriff so they can compel her to forget. She says her daughter is gone (because she's a vampire) but Damon stands up for Caroline. Stefan and Elena have a real fight about him consuming human blood Caroline admits she is spying for Katherine to protect Matt Elena and Stefan agree to have him drink a little blood ...

Season 2 Episode 4: Memory Lane Content Warning: Language, Innuendo, Violence, Kissing And our plot points. Things continue to get interesting: Katherine is getting into Stefan's head Tyler is trying to figure out why Mason wants the moonstone Stefan traps Katherine. She tells him how she traded the moonstone for her life in 1864 Jenna has a BBQ where Damon keeps dropping hints about how Mason is a werewolf Mason wants peace with Damon but later Damon stabs him so I'm sure that'll go well Caroline is trying to stop Elena from going to find Stefan. We find out she is working for Katherine Killing someone triggers the werewolf curse Elena and Stefan have a fake fight in front of Caroline so she will tell Katherine In a flashback Katherine told Stefan she loved him when she left.... We learn a lot more information on Katherine and the moonstone. It is apparently pretty important considering Katherine traded it for her life. In other news Damon is being Dam...

Season 2 Episode 3: Bad Moon Rising Content Warning: Language, Innuendo, Violence Plot Points: Caroline is having a hard time being with Matt Elena, Alaric, and Damon travel to Yale to find out more information Bonnie makes Caroline a daylight ring Damon takes an arrow for Elena They meet one of Isobel's associates who tells them about the legend of the sun and moon curse Caroline has a bad run in with Matt Caroline and Stefan are working together to help Caroline control her newfound vampire status Mason is a werewolf Elena refuses to forgive Damon despite his efforts at earning her forgiveness Matt and Caroline kiss but it turns too heated and Mason the werewolf steps in. She completed it after drinking some blood from a blood bag Damon is obsessed with what Mason Lockwood (And Tyler) is Elena is still mad at Damon Mason is still looking for the moonstone Stefan arm wrestles Mason and finds out that he is strong. Damon compels a guy to go after Tyler to see what will happen Caroline confronts Damon and shows off the fact that she is a vampire.
