Season 2 Episode 8: Rose

  1. Caroline and Damon talk about what to do about Tyler
  2. Caroline pretends she doesn't know anything about Tyler to Tyler
  3. Tyler is supernaturally strong now
  4. Stefan and Jeremy figure out Elena was taken
  5. The vampires who took Elena are giving her to someone named Elijah
  6. Stefan wants to talk to Katherine to see if she notices anything but Damon advises against it
  7. Bonnie tries to help track Elena 
  8. Bonnie and Jeremy continue to bond
  9. Elijah is an original vampire
  10. The vampires are trading her because she's a doppelganger and needs her to break the curse so, in essence, Elena has to die
  11. Caroline tells Tyler she is a vampire
  12. Stefan and Damon go to save Elena
  13. Damon stabs Elijah
  14. Rose (one of the vampires who kidnapped Elena) offers information to Stefan saying someone named Klaus wants Elena
  15. Damon returns Elena's necklace after telling her he loves her but doesn't deserve her. Then he compels her to forget
  16. Psych! Elijah isn't dead
I. AM. SCREAMING. Damon is finally admitting his love for Elena sincerely and genuinely. Whether you think this is the sweetest thing ever or it makes you want to throw up.... he said it. And I for one am thrilled. I think that the fact that he erased it afterwards says a lot about him. He doesn't want to cause that conflict for her and he truly believes Stefan is better for her. I admire the selflessness in this scene. But my ship aside this was an interesting episode. We learn that Elena is somehow tied to the curse and she has to die to break it. She is saved in this episode but I think that this Klaus they are referencing is going to show up eventually. Especially since Elijah is still alive so obviously we are going to see him again. There is a lot of information we learn in this episode. I really enjoyed this episode....

Here is a quote Damon says to Elena, "I need to say it once. You need to hear it. I love you, Elena."

Season 1 Episode 2: The Night of the Comet  Content Warning: Drug Use, Violence, Language, Kissing, Brief Sexual Scene at the end Hello Again! Slowly but surely I just finished the second episode. Season 2 Episode 10: The Sacrifice Content Warning: Violence (People's hearts are ripped out), Innuendo (implied sex), Language This episode is aptly named. Not the most depressing I've seen but well... you'll see: Luka's Dad steals some stuff from Elena's room Alaric and Jenna are progressing nicely Stefan and Damon are planning to steal the moonstone from Katherine. Elena isn't fond of that plan because she doesn't want to incur the wrath of Klaus so she wants to give herself up instead. Bonnie and Luka are bonding...ugh. Season 2 Episode 1: The Return Content Warning: Language, Innuendo, Violence,  Here we are at another season. And it sure does start out with a bang: Elena is able to save John and get him to a hospital Damon brings up the kiss to Elena and quickly finds out that it was Katherine not Elena Stefan tells John he has to leave or Stefan will turn him into a vampire Mason Lockwood who is Tyler's Uncle who showed up for the funeral Katherine shows up at the after event for the funeral pretending to be Elena Bonnie threatens Damon using her powers Bonnie tries to threaten Katherine but it doesn't work and Stefan has to save Bonnie Katherine tells Stefan she came back for him Katherine tells Damon (after a heavy make out session) that she never loved him and always preferred Stefan Damon goes to Elena's room and does some serious "we have a connection" stuff.
