Season 2 Episode 7: Masquerade

Plot Points:
  1. Katherine tells Caroline to tell Damon and Stefan to bring the moonstone to the masquerade ball or she'll kill people
  2. The "group" plans to kill Katherine
  3. Katherine has a witch on her side
  4. Bonnie and Jeremy have some bonding moments
  5. They try to kill Katherine but find out she is linked to Elena so that's a problem
  6. Tyler kills someone (not Matt) and Caroline hints that she knows what is going to happen to Tyler (Directly to Tyler)
  7. Damon traps Katherine in the tomb and hints that Elena is in danger but Damon ignores it 
  8. Stefan and Elena are still continuing to be broken up
  9. Elena gets kidnapped at the end
Well. This was an episode. The first thing I want to talk about is the ending. I'm sorry I know I'm starting at completely the wrong end but I think that is the most important. Did Katherine get what she deserved? They didn't kill her but locked her in the tomb where she should have been in the first place. I like the justice of that decision but I feel like that is going to come right around and stab them in the back. But that's a problem for another day. Whether you agree with that decision or not it's done now. In other news Tyler has officially killed someone (thanks again Katherine) and will be transforming into a wolf when the moon is full. I feel bad for Tyler because I kind of like him now. And the fact that no matter how awful a person you are no one deserves that kind of torture. But I have a feeling that him being a werewolf will pull him into more supernatural problems then he realizes. Stefan and Elena are still going to be staying apart because Elena isn't ready yet. Which I get. But I didn't think their break up would last longer than an episode or two. Huh.

Here is a quote Jenna says about Jeremy that is gold, "He needs to have more fun. Lose some of that emo thing."

Season 2 Episode 10: The Sacrifice Content Warning: Violence (People's hearts are ripped out), Innuendo (implied sex), Language This episode is aptly named. Not the most depressing I've seen but well... you'll see: Luka's Dad steals some stuff from Elena's room Alaric and Jenna are progressing nicely Stefan and Damon are planning to steal the moonstone from Katherine. Elena isn't fond of that plan because she doesn't want to incur the wrath of Klaus so she wants to give herself up instead. Bonnie and Luka are bonding...ugh. Season 2 Episode 1: The Return Content Warning: Language, Innuendo, Violence,  Here we are at another season. And it sure does start out with a bang: Elena is able to save John and get him to a hospital Damon brings up the kiss to Elena and quickly finds out that it was Katherine not Elena Stefan tells John he has to leave or Stefan will turn him into a vampire Mason Lockwood who is Tyler's Uncle who showed up for the funeral Katherine shows up at the after event for the funeral pretending to be Elena Bonnie threatens Damon using her powers Bonnie tries to threaten Katherine but it doesn't work and Stefan has to save Bonnie Katherine tells Stefan she came back for him Katherine tells Damon (after a heavy make out session) that she never loved him and always preferred Stefan Damon goes to Elena's room and does some serious "we have a connection" stuff.
