Season 2 Episode 3: Bad Moon Rising

Plot Points:
  1. Caroline is having a hard time being with Matt
  2. Elena, Alaric, and Damon travel to Yale to find out more information
  3. Bonnie makes Caroline a daylight ring
  4. Damon takes an arrow for Elena
  5. They meet one of Isobel's associates who tells them about the legend of the sun and moon curse
  6. Caroline has a bad run in with Matt
  7. Caroline and Stefan are working together to help Caroline control her newfound vampire status
  8. Mason is a werewolf
  9. Elena refuses to forgive Damon despite his efforts at earning her forgiveness
  10. Matt and Caroline kiss but it turns too heated and Mason the werewolf steps in.
  11. Matt and Caroline break up
I want to start off by talking a little bit about Damon. In this episode he is doing a lot to try to make it up to Elena and I want to acknowledge that. I once read a comment under some Damon Salvatore video that pretty much summarized how I feel now. When Damon makes mistakes or does something bad HE TREATS THEM THAT WAY. He never excuses his behaviors and does everything he can to make up for them. Does that make what he does any better? Not really. But it is great that they don't brush his actions under the rug, and Damon doesn't either. He recognizes when he does something stupid and puts forth every effort to make it up to the person he hurt. Okay rant over. We end up finding out a little bit more about this curse that causes the vampires and werewolves to be the way they are. Interesting stuff and I feel like it will play a bigger part in the story. Caroline is going through a tough time in this episode because she can't be together with Matt. I think she made the right call considering how new she is to the whole vampire thing. It was a hard choice. I am so grateful that Stefan was there with her.

Season 2 Episode 10: The Sacrifice Content Warning: Violence (People's hearts are ripped out), Innuendo (implied sex), Language This episode is aptly named. Not the most depressing I've seen but well... you'll see: Luka's Dad steals some stuff from Elena's room Alaric and Jenna are progressing nicely Stefan and Damon are planning to steal the moonstone from Katherine. Elena isn't fond of that plan because she doesn't want to incur the wrath of Klaus so she wants to give herself up instead. Bonnie and Luka are bonding...ugh. Season 2 Episode 1: The Return Content Warning: Language, Innuendo, Violence,  Here we are at another season. And it sure does start out with a bang: Elena is able to save John and get him to a hospital Damon brings up the kiss to Elena and quickly finds out that it was Katherine not Elena Stefan tells John he has to leave or Stefan will turn him into a vampire Mason Lockwood who is Tyler's Uncle who showed up for the funeral Katherine shows up at the after event for the funeral pretending to be Elena Bonnie threatens Damon using her powers Bonnie tries to threaten Katherine but it doesn't work and Stefan has to save Bonnie Katherine tells Stefan she came back for him Katherine tells Damon (after a heavy make out session) that she never loved him and always preferred Stefan Damon goes to Elena's room and does some serious "we have a connection" stuff.
