Season 1 Episode 22: Founder's Day

The conclusion to the first season. Everything I wanted and more. Overall a satisfying conclusion:
- Stefan is still acting jealous about Damon
- Anna offers to turn Jeremy and says they can run away together. She gives him a vial of her blood to use if he wants but he says he won't use it
- Stefan tells Elena that John is her birth father
- Jeremy is still mad about Elena lying to him
- Damon thanked Bonnie for unspelling the device and said he owed her one.
- John and the founders council plan to activate the device when the tomb vampires come for revenge
- Damon tells Jeremy to stop being rude to Elena. Stefan steps in to....help?
- John knocks out the sheriff because she doesn't want people in danger
- Anna tells Damon about the tomb vampires plan to attack. Damon tells everyone else
- Caroline is trying to fix Matt and Tyler's friendship
- John activates the device and all the vampires are collapsing
- Tyler and Mayor Lockwood collapse too
- They take Anna and Damon to burn in the basement
- John staked Anna
- Then John lights the basement on fire
- They figure out that Bonnie lied
- Mayor Lockwood has his neck snapped by a vampire
- Tyler's eyes went all weird for a second
- Bonnie saves Damon by taking the fire down enough for Stefan to grab him
- Elena tell Stefan that he has nothing to worry about. She loves him
- Damon tells Jeremy that Anna's dead. He gives Jeremy the choice to have the pain takes away. Damon admits what he did to Vicki was wrong and apologizes to Jeremy
- Caroline got seriously hurt in a car accident
- Damon also gives Jeremy the worst pep talk ever prompting Jeremy to drink Anna's blood and try to commit suicide
- Bonnie says she'll kill Damon and Stefan if she has to
- Damon is struggling with his more "good guy" impulses
- Damon and Elena kiss. Psyche! It was Katherine
- Katherine also cut off John's fingers and stabbing him
Damon says this to Elena that I love, "Somewhere along the way, you decided I was worth saving. I wanted to thank you for that."
