Season 1 Episode 18: Under Control

Content Warning: Drinking, Language, Innuendo, Violence, Heavy Making Out

  1. Damon is encouraging Stefan to continue to drink human blood
  2. Elena's Uncle John shows up at the house. No one really likes him. I don't really like him
  3. Tyler and Jeremy have this weird bonding moment over the loss of Vicki
  4. John is a member of the Founder's Council and he reports blood missing from the blood bank. He is encouraging the hunt for vampires to resume
  5. Alaric tells Elena about Jeremy's interest in vampires and they talk a little about their interactions with vampires
  6. Jenna and John apparently slept together
  7. Elena asks Damon over to get information about Stefan but he is not forthcoming
  8. Elena tries to figure out how much Jeremy knows about vampires
  9. Everyone goes to this little founders party and Stefan is not doing so well. He is getting drunk and angry
  10. Jeremy is trying to get more information on Vicki because he doesn't believe that she died of a drug overdose
  11. John knows Damon is a vampire. So Damon kills him
  12. Tyler and Matt's mom bond and then start making out. I'm sorry is this a trend?!?! Matt finds them and is incredibly pissed off and a fight begins
  13. Stefan gets some blood on him and he leaves the party but succumbs to the blood. Does not kill anyone though even though that annoying guy definitely deserved it
  14. John Gilbert is officially not dead and it is because he wears a ring like Alaric's. Damon talks to Alaric about it
  15. Jeremy finds Elena's journal and reads about how she asked Damon to take away his pain
  16. Matt kicks his mom out of the house
  17. John sent Isobel to Damon. And he knows about a lot of stuff including about Katherine and Alaric's ring
  18. Stefan goes to Elena because he is really struggling. They have a moment
  19. Stefan drinks blood at the end
I despise Uncle John. But I am not a fan of constantly smug faced characters which Uncle John most definitely is. Jeremy now officially knows about everything and believe me I am not thrilled about the moment he confronts Elena. I don't need him involved with everything and making some stupid complicated choices. Stefan is not doing so well. He is really having a hard time with everything and it is weird to see him not in control. But no one knows how to help him and Damon isn't exactly winning "Brother of the Year" award. There is a lot of information dump in this episode and it definitely promises that things will only get more complicated. 
Here is the first quote that Stefan says that pretty well describes how he feels, "I have this hunger inside me that I've never felt in my entire life." 
But here is this funny quote with Stefan and Damon: 
Stefan: "I really liked you better when you hated everyone." 
Damon: "I still do. I just love that they love me."

Season 2 Episode 10: The Sacrifice Content Warning: Violence (People's hearts are ripped out), Innuendo (implied sex), Language This episode is aptly named. Not the most depressing I've seen but well... you'll see: Luka's Dad steals some stuff from Elena's room Alaric and Jenna are progressing nicely Stefan and Damon are planning to steal the moonstone from Katherine. Elena isn't fond of that plan because she doesn't want to incur the wrath of Klaus so she wants to give herself up instead. Bonnie and Luka are bonding...ugh. Season 2 Episode 1: The Return Content Warning: Language, Innuendo, Violence,  Here we are at another season. And it sure does start out with a bang: Elena is able to save John and get him to a hospital Damon brings up the kiss to Elena and quickly finds out that it was Katherine not Elena Stefan tells John he has to leave or Stefan will turn him into a vampire Mason Lockwood who is Tyler's Uncle who showed up for the funeral Katherine shows up at the after event for the funeral pretending to be Elena Bonnie threatens Damon using her powers Bonnie tries to threaten Katherine but it doesn't work and Stefan has to save Bonnie Katherine tells Stefan she came back for him Katherine tells Damon (after a heavy make out session) that she never loved him and always preferred Stefan Damon goes to Elena's room and does some serious "we have a connection" stuff.
