Season 1 Episode 6: Lost Girls

Image result for vampire diaries s1 e6 gifThis episode was a roller coaster and left us on an incredibly huge cliffhanger. But that was not all that occurred in this episode: 
  1. Stefan tells Elena he is a vampire. He also tells her Damon is behind all of the attacks
  2. Damon kills and burns Vicki's drug friends
  3. Damon wants his ring back and threatens to hurt Elena if Stefan doesn't give it to him
  4. Logan got the Gilbert watch and uses it to fashion a vampire tracker of sorts
  5. Damon turns Vicki into a vampire 
  6. Damon kills Logan and Vicki feeds on him completing her transition
  7. Elena tells Stefan that they can't be together because of everything 
The secret is out. Elena now knows that her boyfriend is a vampire. More than that the mysterious events she has started to link together have an explanation. She is understandably freaked out and unsure of how to proceed. Can I just get a thank the heavens for a rational response from her? She was not just okay with it, which makes total sense. There is something refreshing about a girl not immediately being alright with everything just cause she likes the guy. On another subject however I think that turning Vicki into a vampire is the worst decision in the history of EVER. Not just because it will hurt other people but because she is a drug addict. Why change an addict into a vampire who craves blood? That is guaranteed to not work out. But it happens anyway. Through this experience though we do learn how exactly one can turn into a vampire: They need to have a vampires blood in their system when they die and then feed on blood when they wake up to complete the transition. Which is an interesting piece of knowledge that will definitely come in handy later on. I'm sure most of you are wondering at this point why I like Damon at all. (If you didn't know he is my absolute favorite character.) Yes I know how he is. Just keep watching.....

Here is a quote Stefan says to Elena when he first tells her he is a vampire, "Everything you know, and every belief that you know is about to change. Are you ready for that?"

Season 2 Episode 10: The Sacrifice Content Warning: Violence (People's hearts are ripped out), Innuendo (implied sex), Language This episode is aptly named. Not the most depressing I've seen but well... you'll see: Luka's Dad steals some stuff from Elena's room Alaric and Jenna are progressing nicely Stefan and Damon are planning to steal the moonstone from Katherine. Elena isn't fond of that plan because she doesn't want to incur the wrath of Klaus so she wants to give herself up instead. Bonnie and Luka are bonding...ugh. Season 2 Episode 1: The Return Content Warning: Language, Innuendo, Violence,  Here we are at another season. And it sure does start out with a bang: Elena is able to save John and get him to a hospital Damon brings up the kiss to Elena and quickly finds out that it was Katherine not Elena Stefan tells John he has to leave or Stefan will turn him into a vampire Mason Lockwood who is Tyler's Uncle who showed up for the funeral Katherine shows up at the after event for the funeral pretending to be Elena Bonnie threatens Damon using her powers Bonnie tries to threaten Katherine but it doesn't work and Stefan has to save Bonnie Katherine tells Stefan she came back for him Katherine tells Damon (after a heavy make out session) that she never loved him and always preferred Stefan Damon goes to Elena's room and does some serious "we have a connection" stuff.
