Season 1 Episode 5: You're Undead to Me

Content Warning: Language, Violence, Sex Scenes (Brief and implied), Drug, Alcohol, Innuendo 

Image result for vampire diaries s1 e5 gifIf you thought things couldn't get more dangerous or confusing you are very wrong. This episode increased the tension and the build up. Buckle up because here is the events that occurred in this episode: 
  1. Jeremy and Vicki are now a thing. They have had sex. (this is implied not really shown.) Towards the end of the episode they break up. 
  2. Some old guy recognizes Stefan--they knew each other in 1953
  3. Stefan tells Elena about Katherine: Basically that he loved her and as a result he did some things he is not proud of. So in essence he and Elena made up
  4. Garlic does not hurt vampires
  5. Stefan and Damon's rings have the family crest on them
  6. Damon uses Caroline to free himself from prison
  7. Damon kills Zach
  8. Elena sees a video from 1953 of Stefan making her question exactly what he is 
  9. Bonnie's powers are out of control so she goes to her grandma for help
  10. When Damon escapes he finds Vicki and feeds on her. Is she dead? Who knows.
There is a lot that happened in this episode. We had our first "major" death, as in a character that we knew sort of well died. Personally, like in the case with Mr. Tanner, Zach's death didn't make me sad. Sure it was awful but I was not a fan of Zach and I felt like he didn't bring anything to the story. On the other hand though I think Elena is incredibly close to finding out what Stefan is. She is putting the pieces together and she is not stupid. I predict within the next couple of episodes she'll figure it out. Which does increase the stakes because how is she gonna react at the news? In other important news Damon is once again on the loose and he attacks Vicki because she is stupid and is out in the woods again. I don't know about you but after everything I feel like I wouldn't go out in the woods by myself for a while. He feeds on her and it looks like he kills her. The last bit of more critical news is that Bonnie is officially not just good at guessing. She started a fire and almost burned a car. With these three events going on the situation with Jeremy and Vicki just seems incredibly unimportant. Jeremy is all "Mr. Nice Guy" after he and Vicki become a thing which is beyond irritating because he was such a punk before. And Vicki says "I'm not with you for the drugs" but when she finds Elena's pills she like "let's get high again." Jeremy is kind of done with the whole drug thing but he goes along with it because he likes Vicki so much. I just don't really like their relationship or either of them right now. But we do have to wonder exactly what is going to happen to Vicki. 

And here is a quote from Elena to Jenna, "I'm not gonna be one of those pathetic girls whose world stops just because of some guy." 

(MAJOR SPOILERS IN MY LITTLE COMMENT BELOW--LIKE SEASON 5/6 SPOILERS SO PLEASE DON'T READ UNLESS YOU'VE SEEN THOSE) 
Honestly that quote reminds me of when Damon dies and her whole world comes crashing down. Elena goes crazy! There is actually this picture I found where someone connected this quote and the incident I'm talking about. Just a fun little thing I was thinking about.

Season 2 Episode 10: The Sacrifice Content Warning: Violence (People's hearts are ripped out), Innuendo (implied sex), Language This episode is aptly named. Not the most depressing I've seen but well... you'll see: Luka's Dad steals some stuff from Elena's room Alaric and Jenna are progressing nicely Stefan and Damon are planning to steal the moonstone from Katherine. Elena isn't fond of that plan because she doesn't want to incur the wrath of Klaus so she wants to give herself up instead. Bonnie and Luka are bonding...ugh. Season 2 Episode 1: The Return Content Warning: Language, Innuendo, Violence,  Here we are at another season. And it sure does start out with a bang: Elena is able to save John and get him to a hospital Damon brings up the kiss to Elena and quickly finds out that it was Katherine not Elena Stefan tells John he has to leave or Stefan will turn him into a vampire Mason Lockwood who is Tyler's Uncle who showed up for the funeral Katherine shows up at the after event for the funeral pretending to be Elena Bonnie threatens Damon using her powers Bonnie tries to threaten Katherine but it doesn't work and Stefan has to save Bonnie Katherine tells Stefan she came back for him Katherine tells Damon (after a heavy make out session) that she never loved him and always preferred Stefan Damon goes to Elena's room and does some serious "we have a connection" stuff.
